Swanny was a 14.2 meter (45 foot) tall sculpture of a swan built in Western Australia. It took 4 months of preparatory work in Fremantle to fabricate the head, neck, and structural framework. The on-site build in Kulin took 23 straight days. Constructing the wings was the most challenging part of the project. After its role was fulfilled, Swanny was dismantled in a controlled burn that took 43 minutes, making for a spectacular bonfire.
