Create a Playlist for the Main Character of Your Independent
Reading Book
1. Recall one of the main characters of your Independent Reading Books. You
might want to choose a character from the most recent novel.
2. Make a song playlistfor the main character from your Independent Reading
Book. Remember the songs have to connectto the main character’s situation
as well as his/her personality and attitude.
3. You must have a list of 7-10 songs. Use your Book Creator App- Create a
Playlist.
4. Book Creator Book must include:
Title Page with-
● Name of Main Character
● Title of Book and Author (find a picture online of the book)
● Each page must include the title of the song
o the Artist/Singer or Band
o a picture that represents the theme of the song
o 1-2 complete sentences that EXPLAINwhy you think the
song connects with the main character’s situation, attitude
or personality?
o You may also provide the song’s YouTube links.
