Work Experience
African Sun Pvt Ltd- Bookkeeper
05.2014 – Present
I have been working for Africansun Pvt Ltd (Troutbeck Inn Resort & Caribbea Bay
Lodges) as a Bookkeeper /Receivables Controller since May of 2015. My duties are
mainly inclined to preparation of Nominal Ledgers, Bank reconciliations, management
of Customer Accounts, Petty cash, Purchasing and Acquisitions, but without restriction
to the major areas of accounting. I have also been assisting the Accountant with Tax
calculations and remittances, as well as preparation of the Financial Statements.
Décor Paints Pvt Ltd – Accounts Clerk
05.2013 – 11.2014
I worked for Décor Paints from May 2013 on a full time and part time basis as their
Accounts clerk. Having much broader knowledge and experience from my previous work
experience and educational development, I performed the following duties and
responsibilities: Daily sales computation, Inventory counts and valuations, Debtor’s
reconciliation, Job costing and budgeting, Credit recovery, Product uptake and product
market performance reviews, Production operational internal audits, Raw material budget
and usage reviews.

2. Absolute Paints Pvt Ltd – Cashier/Accounts Clerk
01.2012 – 04.2013
I began my career at Absolute paints in January 2012 as simple sales cashier.
Management upon discovering more potential in me found it fit to appoint me the
weekend days sales cashier personnel captain in September 2012. Having reasonable
accounting knowledge from my A level, management decided to delegate some basic
bookkeeping tasks such as sales receipts filling and daily sales totals computations
whenever they was a lot more than usual transaction volumes. In November 2012, the
position of Accounts clerk was created within the organization to ease the burden on the
Accountant as a result of increased volumes of transactions relative to the increase in the
size of the business. Management found it proper to promote from within the
organization and I was fortunate to be appointed the Accounts clerk upon the condition
that I had to immediately commence studies for a diploma in accounting and business
and I accepted the position. Now being highly motivated and passionate towards the
accounting profession, I began studying for my Diploma in Accounting and Business via
ACCA which I managed to acquire in August 2013. As a result of a series of unfortunate
events regarding the business, I was forced to leave Absolute paints in April 2013.
