Choosing the right projector
Isn’t it time to upgrade your projector?
Technology
DLP projectors are preferred for video applications because they
give a smoother/softer image. LCD projectors are preferred for data/
computer applications because they are sharper and brighter.

Generally, the darker the room, the more people you are presenting to
and the more technical the application then the more lumens required.

Colour Light Output
Until now, buyers and users have had no way to determine if their projector is capable of producing rich, vivid colour. Colour Light
Output or Colour Brightness addresses this issue.
The vast majority of the projectors today project colour, so measuring White Light Output or White Brightness alone is insufficient.
Colour Light Output or Colour Brightness gives projector buyers the data they need and have been missing.
Projector buyers should look for both numbers — White Brightness (White Light Output) and Colour Brightness (Colour Light Output).
For optimum visual experience, make sure Colour Light Output (Colour Brightness) is equal to White Light Output (White Brightness).

Resolution
The resolution is the number of pixels that make up an image. The larger the number of pixels the higher the
resolution and the sharper and more detailed the image is.

Lumens Use
Up to 1000 Lumens Business projectors in this category should be used in darkened rooms so that the image isn’t

Projectors between 1000 and 1500 lumens may need reduced lighting for better results.
Projectors between 1500 and 2000 lumens do not require a totally dark or dimly
lit room to give a good picture.
2000 to 3000 Lumens These projectors are suitable for use in large conference rooms or classrooms and can handle
increased levels of ambient or natural light and project effectively on a larger screen size.
