3. TRAVEL AND EXPERIENCES
I am open to new adventures; I love to travel and have always been a seeker of
new adventures and discoveries. My travels through much of Europe, the Middle
East and North America have added greatly to my personality.
4. CULTURAL OPENNESS
In the era of social media and technology, it is more crucial than ever to physically
interact with people and create social bonds that go beyond digital communication. My
personal exposure through travel has helped me develop a love, understanding and
tolerance towards other cultures, religions and ways of life.
5. INTELLECTUAL CURIOSITY
Being trilingual (very fluent in French, English, and Arabic) and having traveled
extensively, has fuelled my interest in social norms, art, music, languages,
sports and history.
6. CULINARY EXPOSURE
My openness is also reflected in my love to savour different foods and my style of
cooking; I love trying new recipes, discovering new flavours and ingredients, and
learning about food culture in various countries. Above are some of my culinary
creations manifesting my cultural diversity.
8. My openness helped me in
many situations but one
notable one that I remember
specifically was having to
adapt to a new environment
and make friends after
temporarily moving to
Canada, at the age of 12.
While I was still very young
and quite shy, I was able to
introduce myself to children
my age who had different
backgrounds and nationalities
than mine.
9. I was capable of building
truly genuine friendships
which have lasted ever
since. I am still in touch
with the people I met
almost 6 years ago, and I
believe that my openness
and approachability have
allowed me to bond with
people and create long-
lasting friendships, and
also helped me integrate
into new groups with ease.
