equipment solutions for the catering industry. The head office is in Ajman, UAE; the
premier manufacturing unit is located in Ajman, UAE and with facilities in
Coimbatore, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka, we are fully geared to meet every
requirement of the customers in the Middle East, Indian sub-continent and export

2.2. Out - sourced Products:
EKEM liaises with reputed manufacturers/ fabrication specialists for walk in cold
rooms, exhaust ducting & fan, fire suppression systems etc for projects. Our
engineers will be in constant coordination with the engineers of such out sourced
items and the main contractor to provide all necessary services required for the
installation and maintenance of such equipment.

15. 2.3. Engineering:
The engineering team looks at each and every item involved in a project, ensuring
that all facets work together effectively. We guarantee the accuracy and
completeness of our drawings for architectural details, construction requirements &
electro mechanical services/ utility schedule.
The installation phase is handled by out team of technician who coordinate from
equipment delivery, storage at site to final hook up. Our staff will be at hand to train
the staff and to instruct the day to day care and upkeep requirements.
To compliment our service pledge to you, EKEM offers our own professional
service technicians available 24 hours a day. We realize that by carrying a
comprehensive inventory of parts and service supplies we can minimize customer
"down time" and have you up and running quickly. All equipment sold by EKEM is
supported by professional service and assistance anywhere. We also offer
extended service & spares warranty and annual maintenance contracts.

Manoj Chalil, Managing Director
Hospitality professional with more than 18 years experience in hotel & restaurant
operations & food service consulting, Manoj heads the technical team and
oversees the manufacturing, on site engineering and all support processes.
Manoj’s expertise in food service equipment maintenance and sourcing of
components has been the key to the success of EKEM.
Ajith Rama Varma, Managing Director
Hospitality professional with more than 20 years’ experience in hotel & restaurant
operations & food service consulting, Ajith is instrumental in design and sales
functions at EKEM. His previous experiences are with Taj Group of Hotels, Gerard
Café (hospitality) & Angelo Po Grandi Cucine (food service equipment). In his
efforts to update with the latest trends, he has widely travelled to visit exhibitions
and factories of major suppliers in Europe & Asia.
