3. PHARM ANIMAL was established in 1991 at city of Volos located
in Central Greece, as a wholesaler for veterinary drugs, instruments
and nutritional products.
By 1995, the company managed to expand its activities in other
areas of Greece increasing its share in the national market. During
the same year it proceeded to a joint venture with the AGROVEMA,
a wholesale company for feed additives and machineries, located in
Athens. The new company created was named PHARM ANIMAL
S.A.
In 2010 PHARM ANIMAL S.A. moved to its new facilities in the
town of Koropi, adjacent to the Athens International Airport. The
new facilities cover a total area of 1.100 sq.m. having a modern
logistics infrastructure.
4. The company’s initial capital from 15.900 EUR has been raised to
650.000 EUR (4.000 % increase).
The main activity remains the wholesale of veterinary drugs and
public health products.
Today is the biggest wholesaler in Greece in the aforementioned
sector.
PHARM ANIMAL is the leader among its competitors and holds the
14 % of the Greek market in Veterinary Drugs (total Greek market
including feed antibiotics was 72M EUR according to HEVAFARM
data –March 2016).

public health products to its clients which are mainly veterinarians, pharmacies
and agriculturalists.
PHARM ANIMAL owns 5 trucks making everyday deliveries to customers in
Athens and Piraeus, transport companies, couriers, and also to public
transportation for other areas across Greece.
PHARM ANIMAL delivers within 24 hours upon receiving the order and for
urgent orders delivers the same day.
PHARM ANIMAL has 13 salesmen in close contact with its customers creating
a spirit of trust between them and the company.
PHARM ANIMAL can provide the full range of products that are licensed by
Greek authorities offering also consulting and related information. PHARM
ANIMAL is the biggest customer of all Veterinary (local or multinational)
suppliers.
