Project Details:
The GE Power & Water, Myfleet – is an enterprise application which acts as
a Power Plant Performance Monitor. A web application under development that
holds turbines information for decision support to get the most out of the power
plant. Better visibility of output and heatrate with integration of Highcharts and
HighStocks charts which leads to more reliable, flexible and profitable power
plants.

Project Details:
webCRT is a web-based application used in Repair shops (Gas and
Steam/Gen), by GE Repair Technicians to document the work performed to
inspect and repair turbine parts. The tool prepopulates part pedigree data like
part and serial numbers, fire hours/starts, pervious jobs #, etc., and allows the
technician to construct a customer repair report by entering text, pictures and
data forms. Once all information is captured, webCRT produces a PDF report with
standard formatting and a consistent look & feel across all shops. The report is
then sent to CPMs who then forward to the end customer.
Contributions:
Involved in understanding of business requirements, design and development
of the project.

Enhancements in the Performance Services (PS) is a sub-P&L under
Installation and Field Services (I&FS), which in turn is a sub-P&L under Energy
Services, a P&L under GEPS. Performance Services provides Value Packages to
GEPS customers to improve efficiency, output, reliability, availability and/or
emissions. These upgrade packages cover the gas, steam and generator
technologies and cover a wide range of customer needs, including gas turbine
firing temperature uprates, steam turbine dense packs and advance design
steam paths and generator liquid cooled stator rewinds.
