This hotel is a bit insane - in both a good and a bad way. Checking in kind of put a sour
start on the stay - as depending on what site you book the hotel through there can be odd
hidden fees. And it didn't help that no one at the desk knew how to speak English very well
to explain how they were ripping you off.
But the rooms were decent - not queens - but doubles. A friend got a suite with a king bed
that was literally two twins put together. They didn't even bother putting a mattress cover to
make them at least appear to be together.
Room service was non existent (in otherwords the worst). and the lighting in the double
room was so bad you could barely see.
Gym? barely used but decent - but the sauna or whatever it was they had on the second
floor of the outdoor pool/gym building was not on the entire time we were there.
Good things about this hotel - mexican restaurant on 8th floor was actually quite good and
2. the irish bar downstairs was fun, friendly staff too...just heard that at night it can get a bit
raunchy........and the location was great for restaurants/fast food joints, grocery stores,
everything within a 2 minute walk. The beach quite some distance away.
