3. HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT
• The department of sports is one of the core central
department of Lahore Garrison University.
• The mandate of the LGU Sports Department is to ensure
that the students are provided with sports and games
services at both recreational and competitive levels.
• In the last couple of years, there has been a remarkable
improvement in our teams and their performance at all
Pakistan HEC Inter University Championship and University
Festivals
5. Mission:
• To get affiliation with the National and International Sports
Federations/Organization.
• to arrange Coaching Training Camps and Courses for the benefit
of Pakistan University/HEC Team/Student Players and Sports
Officials.
• To award Medals, Trophies, Certificates Prize Money and Sports
Scholarships Among the position holder players of LGU.
• To organize and facilitate Conferences, Courses, Seminars,
Workshops, Lectures and Research Work in Sports.

Director Sports and teaching in garrison post

• Used her contacts made after the run of 26 years for
the betterment of sports department of LGU.
• She designed the future of this department by
looking into roots, by hiring an accountant for the
tenders of sports activities.
• She stood still while supporting the idea of building a
sports complex and hence a comfort zone for the
sports students.

• The Sports department lie in the era of Influencer as its
Head is a determinant, devoted, courageous and a humble
lady.
• She believes in training and making the stars instead of
waiting for the right student to come.
• After every 4 months blood test and physical fitness test
are taken by the designated person.
• Their scholarship depends upon the result of these tests.

director who take a decision if needed and if a large
scale decision is needed than it is transferred to the
