Dark Castle Entertainment is a film production company focused solely on horror films. It is a subsidiary of Warner Bros. and has produced successful films like The Orphan (2009) and House of Wax (2005). Dark Castle Entertainment was inspired by 1950s-1960s horror filmmaker William Castle and aims to recreate his style with modern films. Their highest earning film is Gothika which made $141.5 million at the box office. In total, Dark Castle Entertainment films have earned around $690.5 million.

This production is based solely on horror films, unlike New Line Cinema and Lions Gate Films. Dark Castle Entertainment has produced films such as The Orphan( 2009), House Of Wax (2005) and Unknown( 2011), which is out this February.<br />Dark Castle was named after William Castle the horror filmmaker from the 1950’s to the 1960’s. When they first created this company, they wanted to create all of William’s films, almost as if they had had an upgrade. However once they had re-created two films, they decided to work on original material and create other horror films.<br />Dark Castle Entertainment is a small production of Warner Bros. This production has been created only for the Horror genre. Warner Bros has released some horror films as Warner Bros such as Twilight Zone: The Movie, which is a sci-fi horror.<br />Dark Castle Entertainment’s biggest achievement was the production of Gothika, which gave a total of $141,591,324.
