Music is in my blood. Literally, as I come from a long line of musicians. I have been
playing the piano and singing as far back as the 4th grade and have been performing
writing and arranging music in bands since I was 18. My first love was classical music,
motown and the blues, but I have grown to love countless genres and am influenced by
countless cultures and styles of sounds.
E X P E R I E N C E

Instructed students in voice technique (bel canto and more modern scientific
approaches). Helped to guide them to using the breath and a relaxed body and mouth
apparatus to sing with clarity and ease. We also focused on ear training and singing on
pitch and in tune.

Focused on the basics of music theory, understanding notation, and reading music.
Also taught students the fun, freedom and technique of improvisation based in jazz
theory. Also instructed students in the basics of songwriting.

This was a music project that I created, wrote music for, and arranged for. We played
out in venues in and around New York City.

With Vasaria I arranged vocal and keyboard parts to original compositions and
performed these at live shows and in the studio.
