The bank will read your entire credit report and dissect
its components

6. Have I met the
5 C's of credit?
COLLATERAL
Do I have sufficient collateral?
If not, can I obtain other sources of comfort to appease
the credit officer? i.e. life insurance, alternate sources
such as stocks or 401k’s

7. Have I met the
5 C's of credit?
CONDITION
Have I shown that the industry I am in is in a favorable
condition or has a favorable outlook to be successful?
Have I demonstrated the specific uses of funds for the
loan?

8. Have I met the
5 C's of credit?
CAPACITY
Have I shown, for a new venture, or existing business
that it will be able to pay its debts?
Can the business repay the new loan and have
demonstrated this historically and on a projected basis?

9. Do I know my numbers?
Can I explain them?
Revenues, COGS and operating expenses

11. Am I able to demonstrate
