Do you have eggs for breakfast? Breakfast is an important meal because good food
gives you energy for your day. Eggs give you energy, so they are a popular
breakfast food around the world.
In Russia, there are often eggs for breakfast. Sandwiches, pancakes and kasha – a
type of cereal – are popular, too. People usually have tea or coffee with breakfast.
Eggs are popular for breakfast in England. A “traditional” English breakfast has got
eggs with sausages, beans, potatoes and tomatoes, but these days, people
sometimes have a small breakfast with cereal, bread, orange juice and tea or coffee.
Eggs, bread and coffee aren’t popular in China. There’s bing – a type of pancake
and there’s tang – a type of soup. They’ve got a cereal called zhou, too.
There are many different types of breakfasts around the world, but eggs or no eggs,
breakfast is an important meal.
