1. Press Release: David Nussbaum takes the lead of Shelter
London, United Kingdom, 2nd March 2015- Housing and homelessness fundraising charity,
Shelter, today announced David Nussbaum as its new CEO for England.
David Nussbaum will be based in Shelter’s London office, administrating the fundraising
activities of the organisation as well as maximizing the charity’s value. Nussbaum brings 20
years of experience in the domain to Shelter, having previously worked for Oxfam, Low
Carbon Accelerator and Shared Interest Society Ltd. He is currently leading and managing
WWF-UK and has been doing so for the past 8 years, chairing the international WWF
Network's Global Climate and Energy Initiative. Furthermore, David Nussbaum has been
collaborating with Transparency International UK as Chair of the Nomination and
Remuneration Committees for over 2 years which made him aware of various social issues.

David Nussbaum will oversee and ensure Shelter continues, improves and implements its
campaigns against homelessness, by building on and dispensing further goals to be achieved.
Due to his economy related experience, David will also advance Shelter’s fundraising and
legal strategies, as well as its publications.
