1. VACANCY OKSIGEN LAB – SOCIAL INNOVATION CONSULTANCY LEAD
THE COMPANY AND CONTEXT
We believe that today’s pressing social issues require more entrepreneurial approaches, bringing
together various types of actors willing to collectively create big societal impact.
Oksigen Lab provides coaching and advice to organizations willing to launch or scale entrepreneurial
models for maximum social/environmental impact. Our main areas of intervention are:
- Co-creating and implementing impactful innovations with public, private and non-profit actors
- Business coaching for social/green enterprises (starters and scale-ups), focusing on business
model/planning, investment readiness, social impact measurement, business development
- International research and ecosystem building on social entrepreneurship and innovation
Oksigen Lab is part of Oksigen ecosystem, which unites organizations that aim for societal impact
through social intra/entrepreneurial activity. i-propeller NV advises large companies on innovation
and shared value strategies . Shaerpa Fund management is focused on managing social impact
investment funds and social finance services, with SI2 Fund as the main fund. A holding structure
unites the three entities to ensure transparent financial management and coordinate societal impact.

To lead the further development of our consultancy activities focused on co-creating and
implementing impactful innovations with public, private and non-profit actors (in particular in the
health sector in Flanders), we are looking for an experienced consultant with an entrepreneurial
mindset willing to achieve social impact.
MAIN TASKS:
Overall Management of the business unit (15%)
- Define and be accountable for strategy, planning and financial management of the business unit
- Strategic partnerships: Set up and manage strategic partnerships and positioning of Lab within a
Belgian and international ecosystem
- HR and Resource planning: Manage and grow a team of consultants, ensure appropriate resources
are available and efficiently allocated to projects and correctly incentivized to deliver quality and
impactful work
2. - Operations: manage the necessary operational processes and quality management system
Sales and Business Development (25%)
- End responsibility for positioning and marketing of Oksigen Lab in this field
- End responsibility for sales and business development of impact-oriented consultancy projects and
programs (build trust, identify leads and convert them to clients/partners, including drafting
proposals)
- Account Management: Manage various types of clients, ensure client satisfaction, identify upselling
opportunities, etc.
Project Delivery (60%)
- Manage and deliver successfully on various consultancy projects with diverse types of clients in
parallel (minimum 60% of time on client projects)
IDEAL PROFILE: EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 10 year experience, in (social) innovation consultancy at senior level in the public and
social-profit sectors with understanding of the for-profit world
- Good network and valuable contacts in (semi-) public sector (including Flanders)
- P&L and overall management experience
- Experienced people and project manager

- Driven by societal impact, with strong values, integrity and empathy
- Consulting sales and delivery capabilities in multi-stakeholder contexts
- Creative/strategic thinker, with strong project/process management skills, and able to
operationalize and implement innovations in complex settings.
- Able to inspire and convince high-level decision makers (mainly in public sector)
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Trilingual NL-EN-FR
