Lisa A. Coleman
Lisa A. Coleman is a 15+year veteran of the sales & marketing industry. Serving over 10
years in the travel and tourism, with booking and selling flights with American Airlines for
5yrs, and managing corporate sales travels which includes, corporate group bookings for
Hotel, Flights, and Transportation with World Wide Travel for 6yrs. Then organizing &
managing political campaigns, for 10yrs. With a career change, Lisa educated herself with a
masters degree, became a Certified & License Aesthetician and a professionally trained
Makeup Artist. Lisa has worked hard to build many relationships in various genres of the
world of travel, retail & sales.
Lisa started out cashiering in 1985 at CALDORS retail store in CT and within 3 months was
promoted to Retail Manager until the year 1990, which the store closed due to chapter 11
closings.
In 1990 through 2000 Lisa began and developed her career in travel and tourism sales &
marketing by booking & selling flights for AA, as well as managing & booking all aspects of
corporate travels for World Wide Travel.
In 2000 through 2009, Lisa ventured into Grant Writing & Political Organizing with a non-
profit organization called CCAG/CCRG, as a Political Organizer, Lisa organized & managed
various legislators elections, local and statewide, on their political campaigns during CT
election seasons. And when writing grants for CCAG/CCRG, Lisa wrote several grants
totaling over 3 hundred thousand dollars for citywide funded campaigns. Lisa also directed,
coordinated, and conducted several trainings & seminars for the funded campaigns.
With a career change in beauty, retail & sales marketing, Lisa was hired by an exclusive
high-end spa in 2010 called Elizabeth Grady Med Spa located in Glastonbury CT, which she
conducted several skin analysis, provided luxurious facial treatments, and offered makeup
applications, as well as sell exclusive Elizabeth Grady makeup & skincare products in which
she was top in sales every month.
In 2013, Lisa was brought on board at Lord & Taylor as the new sales Beauty Advisor for
CHANEL Cosmetics. Due to Lisa strong background in cosmetics & sales, within 4 months
at CHANEL, Lord & Taylor promoted Lisa to Cosmetics Sales Manager for 3 prestigious
cosmetics lines: FASHION FAIR, ELIZABETH ARDEN, & BORGHESE.
In 2015 Lisa moved to Baltimore, MD and entered back into her career passion field, which
is Hospitality, Travel & Tourism. Lisa was hired and joined the Sheraton Inner Harbor
Hotel team, as a Sales Auditor/Guest Service Agent. Lisa hope is to grow within a company
in the hospitality industry, and be the best at whatever she does, and strive to grow where
her strengths leads her.
