Tthe Bible affirms that “Christ is able”!
That which we cannot do, He can!
That which is beyond our power is not beyond His!
Jesus Christ is sufficient for all we need in life and living.
3. Are you ever unable to do something you want
or need to do?
We all have weaknesses, limitations,
restrictions. Our feet are clay – sometimes our
hands are unsteady, our abilities are weak.
But the Bible affirms that “Christ is able”!
That which we cannot do, He can! That which is
beyond our power is not beyond His!
Jesus Christ is sufficient for all we need in life
and living.
4. How many words are contained in the
Encyclopedia Brittanica?
The 2010 version of the 15th edition, which
spans 32 volumes and 32,640 pages, was the
last printed edition. Over 70 years, the size of
the Britannica has remained steady, with about
40 million words on half a million topics.
5. Yet the entire collection was written with just 26
letters.
26 letters were sufficient to produce that
massive work.
Jesus Christ is called the “Alpha & Omega” –
first & last, beginning & end – sufficient!
6. He is the Father’s EVERYTHING for ANYTHING
that we need.
Think with me about the statement,
“ ”
15. The source of eternal salvation
NIV
Go preach the gospel….will be saved.

16. A man came to a preacher and said “Preacher, I
need forgiveness. I want Jesus Christ to do for
me that which I cannot do for myself.”
HE HAD THE RIGHT IDEA!
17. The most important need is FORGIVENESS –
that makes the difference between being in
fellowship with God, or out of fellowship and
lost; between being in fellowship with God’s
people, or not; between going to Heaven or
going to Hell.
21. We must say “NO” to sin, not “MAYBE”
Sales calls – I used to hang on and try to explain
to the person why I didn’t want the fabulous
offer they were making!
I learned that doesn’t work, so when the sales
pitch begins, I just say “No, I’m not interested,
please remove this number from your list,” and
hang up.
CHRIST IS ABLE TO HELP US HANG UP
when sin comes calling.
26. Suppose a man has a deadly disease, and is
cured of it – He offers God thanks – that is
PRAISE – but suppose another man is not
cured, and he is on the verge of death – he
looks into the future and says, “Everything is all
right. The Lord doesn’t make any mistakes. If
this is the time He’s calling me home, that will
be all right with me” – that is the PEACE THAT
PASSES UNDERSTANDNING!
28. Don’t ever doubt:
He is able to give us meaning and purpose to
life, He is able to get us into fellowship with God
and God’s people, He is able to make
intercession on our behalf before the throne of
His Father, He is able to raise our bodies from
the grave, He is able to get us home to Heaven!
