Rock ’n Roll Downtown St. Louis Half Marathon, 10K & 5K (Sat. Oct.
14, 5K & Sun. Oct. 15, 10K) — In 2017, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series will be
celebrating 20 years running, with its earliest beginning in San Diego in 1988.
Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis proudly boasts one of the most scenic courses in the Rock
‘n’ Roll family, with start and finish line views of the famous Gateway Arch, a
historic downtown and picturesque neighborhoods framed by all the colors of

Arch Bark at the Gateway Arch park grounds (Sat. Oct. 14, 10 am-2 pm) — Enjoy the expanded Arch
park with your dog at Arch Bark, presented by Royal Canin USA. This new signature event is free and open to
the public. Celebrate the dog-friendly Gateway Arch, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, with a variety of

Brew in the Lou in Francis Park (Sat. Oct. 14, 1-5 pm) — This 5th annual event returns to beautiful Francis
Park with an offering of St. Louis’ best beer, wine, spirits, coffee and good eats. Proceeds benefit the Lutheran
Elementary School Associations’ 35-member schools serving 9,000 students. Costs: $40 in advance; $50 day of

Harvest Festival at Laumeier Park (Sun. Oct. 15, 11 am-5 pm) — More than 3,500 patrons attend Sauce
Magazine’s annual event featuring fall foods and beverages from St. Louis’ top restaurants, a farmers’ market,
locally made arts and crafts, live music and more. Admission adults $8–$10; children ages 10 and under free.

St. Louis Renaissance Festival at Rotary Park in Wentzville (Sat. Oct. 14 & Sun. Oct. 15, 10 am-6
pm) —It’s your last chance to enjoy the 2017 Renaissance Festival! “Sweet Endings” is the appropriately named
theme for this final weekend festival. Events include free vow renewals, chocolate pie eating contest, fantasy

Halloween Nights at Grant’s Farm (Thurs. Oct. 12 through Sun. Oct. 15; 6-9 pm) — Enjoy the season
with a one-of-a-kind celebration, featuring themed shows, a DJ in the Bauernhof courtyard, and themed deer

Oktoberfest at Soulard Market Park (Fri. Oct. 13 and Sat. Oct. 14; Fri. 5-11 pm; Sat. 11 am-5 pm) — St.
Louis' favorite Oktoberfest celebration returns to Historic Soulard at the Farmers Market. The festival is two days
of authentic German fare and beers, a wine garden, human Glockenspiel, feet stomping music, a market with
German goods, and the Bierhall (cost: $20) with a unique beer selection and full German dinners. Prost! Note:

Foghat’s Rock of the ʼ70s Tour at The Family Arena in St. Charles, MO (Sat. Oct. 14, 6 pm) — Fog-
hat’s live performances show why the band is still around today and why they will be able to keep on rockin' as
long as they want. This band truly is timeless. Constant touring is part of their DNA and the band just loves to
play. Their live show is as intense as ever with the incredible energy and musicianship that one would expect and
