Narrative
(0:05:58 – 0:07:41)
In this Scene we follow the story of Bigby who has been called by Toad about
complaints of the building shaking repeatedly, when he investigates the building
he witnesses the “Woodsman” slapping a woman he quickly slams him into the
wall this is where the music takes hold as it has a very aggressive tone as Bigby
and “Woody are fighting in an apartment.
(0:24:58 – 0:28:22)
At this part the music is very laid back as it is in Bigby’s apartment and he has just
got back from a night’s work after the encounter with “Woody” and Beauty. He
then finds a pig called Collin who countlessly escapes a place called “The Farm”
and tells Bigby not to send him back.
(0:18:40 – 0:20:36)
Throughout the game it is noticed that it is an ongoing episodic graphic adventure
as the game is released in parts. The audio matches the genre of the game as it
give you a certain intensity when roaming through streets as Bigby
(0:27:08 – 0:07:41)
This is where Bigby encounters a pig who appears to be sitting in his chair they
start discussing that bigby owes him a drink after he blew down his house, in this
scene you hear small ambient noises of nightlife activity happening outside of
Bigby’s apartment.
Clearly state what production technique(s) you
think have been used to create specific
soundtrack elements
They have used a range of Aggressive sounds to
match the scene that was produced as Bigby and
the Woodsman are fighting after the Woody
slapped the woman in the apartment.
In this music it is very slow paced as it is showing
how dull and silent Bigby’s apartment is as he is
shown walking in his room in the middle of the
night doing pointless things.
In this scene there is mostly ambient sound
coming from car going through the streets and
normal rural activity just occurring around Bigby.
You hear mostly the pig and Bigby talking with
small ambient nightlife noises can be heard
through Bigby’s window
