"Love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life".
This quote above, describes my life. I really love what I do.
I'm a Software Engineer passionate by code and for me is a pleasure work with technology
helping people to solve their problems with solutions developed by me and my team.
When I was 19 and I made my first HTML code on notepad and I opened the file on browser,
my reaction was, "Wow, I want more!". This feeling is with me every day. The feeling was
with me when I've started my first technical course and since then, I never stopped studying
and always that possible, teach other people what I've learned.
My first job opportunity was at MDEV ( today CRE-8 ) working with OpenLaszlo and Java. It
was a great experience to learn how to work with a team. After a year working at MDEV, I
was promoted to Project Supervisor and I could learn a lot on how to deal with people.
After a year on my new position, I received a proposal of an ex-teacher of my technical
course to work developing software solutions for his client, a law firm. Since I was already
looking for a new challenge to learn new things, I accepted the proposal. Again, it was one of
the best choices that I've ever made in my life. I can't describe how much I've learned with
this experience. I worked with a bunch of technologies. Web development, Desktop
development, APIs, integrations and much more.
But, I never liked to be in my comfort zone, so, in 2010,I started to get involved with the
"world of startups". I created a company called YEPDEV with 2 other friends. During this
time, we started to work with some startups, such as: Decora.do, Contentools, Fashiup and
others. Each startup with your own stack of technologies.
In 2014 I had the opportunity to work in a international company (Arctouch App Studio)
sadly, for a small amount of time, but this time I could learn several different things, such as:
Improve my english, work on mobile projects with iOS, HTML5 ( Phonegap ) and Android.
During 2015 I’ve worked for 2 different companies in awesome projects with NodeJS,
AngularJS, React + Redux and I had my first contact with Python. I also started my journey
looking for an opportunity abroad and since April of 2016 I’m living in New Zealand with my
family and working at an amazing company called Optimal Workshop with Ruby on Rails in a
large application and learning a lot about product development, code review and deploy.
