research centers (2008-2010) resulting in the completion of annual 5-year project plans including

• Instrumental in incorporating the Roundup Ready® gene into elite soybean germplasm resulting in Pioneer
being the number one Market Share brand in North America.
• Coordinated and implemented the Yield Breeding Project utilizing SSR markers to facilitate stacking yield
genes identified via Breeding Bias/GeneFlow resulting in the use of context-specific marker-assisted
selection for improved grain yield in elite soybean populations to be utilized globally within soybean

commercialization under the Pioneer® brand.
• Collaborated with Soybean Germplasm Curator from the University of Illinois to yield test experimental
lines possessing 25% or more plant introduction germplasm to increase genetic diversity of commercial
and public soybean germplasm base resulting in broadening the germplasm base of Pioneer soybean
