5. Forming the Lead Team
Functions of the lead team:
1) Set strategic directions in harnessing ICT to support learner
centered and innovative classroom practices
2) Engage middle managers and partners in collective decision
making and in assessment and review of ICT
implementation
3) Put in place clearly defined systems and processes for
school wide ICT implementation
4) Provide customised and differentiated PD to build teacher’s
capacity to deliver ICT enriched learning experiences that
are learner centered
5) Ensure that ICT implementation is driven by curriculum and
pedagogical considerations as well as informed by theories
and research findings
