I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Watkins in my courses of Principles of Marketing,
Strategic Marketing Management, Integrated and Applied Marketing Communications. She
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and graduated in the summer of 2012. If she
had graduated in the spring, she would have been eligible for many of our senior awards and I
would have awarded her the Marketing Senior of the year award. In all of her courses, she gave
more than 100%, was a requested team member by her peers and always volunteered to make
sure any of the extra details that working with real clients in the community required. She was a
joy to be with, and always someone on which I could depend.
Laurin’s education, skills, abilities and self-starting demeanor will be a rare asset to any
organization. She will accept any responsibility and complete it beyond expectations.
