cocktails and jazz at the Booking Office, St Pancras Station; and
alfresco dinner on the canal at King’s Cross Filling Station.
Last meal? Bread with salted butter, olives with lemon and
garlic, Karoo lamb, Boerenkaas from Paterson with even more
bread and SA chef Janet Telian’s candied aubergine and ginger
preserve. Then tiramisu. And only the best red wine.
