Who Am I?
I am a wife, mother, and teacher. I grew up in a single parent household and witnessed my
mom work three jobs to feed us kids. I was the oldest of three kids and a great helper. I
learned very early that an excellent education was essential to living a happy life. Reading and
writing were my favorite subjects and I spent hours inside the library memorizing tons of
“useless” facts. Today, I actually get to use those facts to teach subjects like History,
Geography, Psychology, Government, English, and Financial Literacy. I love my life!
Why, I created this course?
I created this course for busy people. People who want to learn practical skills but have very
little time to study. The course will work for stay-at-home moms raising kids. And it will work
for adults returning to the workforce or transitioning into a new career.
Problem?
People do not know themselves. They begin working early and get stuck in dead-end jobs. As
technology advances, workers need to update their skills. That needs to happen NOW, not
later. Unfortunately, for busy people, college is too expensive and semester classes take too
long. Eighty percent of Americans are working jobs that they do not like. Even worse, their
jobs do not relate to the degree they earned in college. So, students are going to school for
years and coming out confused about who they are and want they want. What a waste of time,
energy, and money!
Solution?
This class will teach you to become self-aware. That means understanding your own mind,
personality, and gifts. You will learn how to analyze your own traits and discover how those
gifts can add value to society. Overall, this course will make you think about who you are and
what you want.

Course Overview
This course is designed to be completed within 3 days, one unit per day. The assessment is a
two hour test to be completed after all three units are done. At the end of the course, learners
will learn to be self-aware. Learners will be able to identify their personality type, learning
modality, and communication style. Lastly, learners will be able to explain their strengths and
weaknesses and decide how they can use their own attributes to make a difference in the
world.
