Redshirt Freshmen Year:starter on all special teams; started at “Will” linebacker in five games and scored a game
winning touchdown against Coastal Carolina University; helped the Eagles to reach the Div-1AA Semi Finals game
versus Delaware
Sophomore Year: played in every game and was a starter on all special teams again; started at “Will” linebacker in four
games including against the Alabama Crimson Tide; helped the Eagles to reach the Semi Finals for the second time in
a row
Junior year: elected Team Captain and voted on by the players as a member of the Leadership Council; starter on
defense as the middle linebacker and played on all special teams; helped the Eagles to reach their third straight Semi
Finals appearance
Senior year: reelected as a Team Captain and voted on by teammates to the Leadership Council; started on defense as
the “Will” linebacker and was voted on to the SOCON (Southern Conference) Second Team Defense by the Coaches
in the league; beat the University of Florida in last game of regular season and was named the defensive player of the
game
