2. I am not sure what to make of Obama’s various dealings with green energy. The Office of
Management and Budget strongly advised against granting the loan to Solyndra, yet Obama
pushed them to approve it. Why is it okay for the government to use our money to pick and
choose future technologies? The market should dictate which form of energy is our future, not
politicians. It seems like Obama is working for corporations, and not the people. I find it a little
too coincidental that right after the BP Oil spill that Obama started pushing the carbon-tax.
Goldman Sachs, Enron, British Petroleum, and our government are all in some way associated
with green energy, but even more so, with globalization, which I am HIGHLY OPPOSED! I do
not claim to really know much at all about the government’s dealing with green energy, but what
I do know is Americans keep having to pay for Obama’s, and other’s mistakes. The whole issue
is somewhat scary.
