Spring 2013
Worked with Apache as a team of four on a drillingproject in a Capstone Design class.
The project consisted of drilling three new horizontal wellsin a section of land in North Texas.
Learned the drillingprocess involvingsetting batch wells, anti-collision risks, casing design, and cement and mud programs.
Petroleum Economics Simulation Project Spring 2012
Worked with a teamof two on a PetroleumEconomics Simulation Project.
Developed a program to simulate different chemicals injected into a reservoir to enhance the oil recovery rate.
Compared Net Present Values of each set of chemicals and determined which was most feasible.
