Contributions of Klexius Kolby to the Kevyn Aucoin Estate and the Aucoin Family
Lafyette, LA, September 1, 2016 - After the unfortunate passing of the popular global Makeup Artist Kevyn Aucoin and Star himself,
his businesses including his brand and line of makeup were struggling to stay afloat. The companies suffered from the loss of the
magnetic and endearing person that Kevyn was, and without his presence or a replacement with similar appeal, the products started to
lose their allure to the market. This went on until Klexius Kolby met Carla Hoffkins Aucoin and Isidore Aucoin, at his office late
2003. Later, a deal with Kevyn's father and family had been brokered in order for Klexius to step in and help save the Aucoin line
and legacy for his late friend Kevyn.
Klexius Kolby gave his personal time, talents, and powerful contacts in every industry imaginable to reviving, and rebuilding the
Kevyn Aucoin Beauty Brand all while reorganizing and restructuring Trade Holdings Inc., Kevyn Aucion's Holding Corp., so that
Kevyn's name and likeness would be protected and also allow other sources of revenue to stream in. Yet Klexius was still running his
own companies and has remained a sought after Makeup Artist himself all the while staying quiet. Klexius Kolby and Isidore Aucoin
continued to quietly move forward in accordance to the Aucoin Patriarch’s wishes as well as mutually agreed direction for the entire
deal. Klexius voluntarily gave Isidore a notarized affidavit indicating that he would provide his personal extra time with no
compensation from the Aucoin companies, Mr. Aucoin, and or the Aucoin Clan. Klexius felt it was important to show good faith,
integrity, forthrightness, transparency, and also out of respect for his friend Kevyn and mentor Isidore. Klexius' team also provided an
additional notarized affidavit that would ensure the Aucoin businesses and Isidore personally, that he would seek no reimbursement or
expenses as well as from the company for his efforts. While everyone else was being compensated for promises they could not keep,
those same people yielded no results for twelve years. The affidavit specified in this press release was for a period that lasted from
February 14, 2003, until July 31, 2015.
During this time, Klexius was able to successfully bring new talent to run the company, including energetic and experienced business
personnel. Business managers, creative staff, marketing, and branding experts were included in this group. After an unbelievably short
time, the business began to turn around and was able to begin paying down debt that had been accumulated during the difficult times.
In addition, Klexius renegotiated a deal between Shu Uemura and Kevyn Aucoin companies by using his relationship with his friend
and teacher, Mr. Uemura. Klexius also brokered deals with Manufacturers, Banks, Distributors, and Investors both inside and outside
the US, thereby expanding the audience for the Kevyn Aucoin products. Using his personal contacts, Klexius introduced Isidore
Aucoin to major players in the Beauty, Fashion and Hollywood Industries and helped place the Aucoin products in the hands of
notable Hollywood Makeup Artists, New York's Fashion Makeup Artists, Unions, Agencies, Beauty Experts, Beauty Editors,
Bloggers, and Celebrities and Entertainers, in every field around the globe.
As a result of Klexius's efforts, the Kevyn Aucoin brand is a well-known as well as a respected player in the Beauty and Fashion
industry once again. The Aucoin Family and Mana Inc. are proud to say that the name Aucoin and the line is thriving and expanding.
The Kevyn Aucoin Beauty is used as the preferred cosmetics line in many major Fashion shows, Editorial features in Fashion
magazines, as well as Film and Television Shows. The Kevyn Aucoin products can also be found in the makeup kits of well-known
and sought-after makeup artists around the world locally in there Fashion, Film, Television, Magazines, and Music Videos.
