Seneca’s Large Animal Health and Production program is a first-of-its-kind
outside of Alberta, Canada and the United States. This specialized program
is geared to graduates of veterinary technician/technology programs, and
is intended to provide Registered Veterinary Technicians the specialized
husbandry, reproduction, nutrition, and business expertise essential in the
large animal and equine veterinary industry.

animals. Everything is different from the way you draw
blood to the way you x-ray,” said Dr. Stanglmeir. “In my
experience, you really need someone with Large Animal
experience and knowledge, so they can immediately start
working and there is less on-the-job training required.”
