1. Hi everyone! My name is
Khushbu Patel and my
family is originally from
India. Currently, I can speak
three languages:
English, Gujarati, and
Hindi. I am first generation
in the United States so I
grew up half Indian/half
American. I am taking this
course to finish my Masters
in Science Education and
can’t wait to start teaching
high school life science!
I want to live near the beach someday so I
posted a picture of me at Miami beach!
2. Meet Maya! My four-year-
old “puppy.”
So, this is my adorable
little booger. She is a
four-year-old German
Shepherd-Chow mix
who is obsessed with
squirrels and cats.
She’s a big fluff ball. I
got her from the
Humane Society here
in Gainesville and she
has been the apple of
my eye since.
