1. Keyur Dixit
Keyur is an energetic, quality focused and result oriented leader with comprehensive
operational experience in the medical laboratory industry. He has more than 18 years of
experience in a variety of laboratory operations and meeting accreditation standards from
organizations such as the College of American Pathologists (CAP), Accreditation Canada (AC)
and Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare (IQMH/ OLA) which is based on ISO 15189
requirements. He is committed to long learning and gathering new experiences. He is recognized
as a strong performer and effective team player leading to successful organizational outcomes.
He has a keen interest in leading the adoption of best practices, utilizing quality management
systems and using operational benchmarks including Lean and Six sigma metrics to achieve and
sustain service excellence.
Currently he is the Integrated Manager, Quality and Point of Care Testing at Grand River
Hospital and St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener and a key member of the Lab Leadership
team. The lab department is recognized and has had many notable accomplishments over the
years using Lean and Quality Management Systems as the foundation to deliver service
excellence to its clients.
2. While at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto), Keyur was the recipient of the Karen
McGibbon Award of Excellence (2011) for outstanding contribution in the area of Innovation.
He was also a key member of the Grand River Hospital team that received the CLMA
Preanalytical Excellence Award sponsored by BD Canada in 2014.
Keyur possess a Master’s degree in chemistry. He holds professional certification from
the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In 2014, he completed the Bachelor’s degree in Health Services
Management (BHA) from Ryerson University (Toronto). Currently he is pursuing a Masters of
Business Administration (MBA) at Baker College (Michigan). He is a certified and experienced
assessor with Ontario Laboratory Accreditation (OLA) and the College of American Pathologists
(CAP).
