Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader
“Luke I am your father.” With Star Wars being one of the most iconic movies of all time
it would be criminal not to include the epic match up between Luke and Vader. This
match up had it all from light saber battles to the epic reveal that dropped the worlds
jaw. The tension between these two kept us on our toes for all 3 of the original movies,
and the return of these two characters in the upcoming movie is a definite draw point
for hardcore fans.

Rocky vs. Drago
Posing as a representation of the conflict between the Soviets and Americans during the
Cold War, the match up between Drago and Rocky definitely makes the list. At the time
a modern day David vs. Goliath this pairing not only gave Americans something to be
proud of, it kept us on the edge of our seats wondering if Rocky could actually take on
Drago. Everything from the iconic work out scenes to the epic fight that took place at
the end, we were wondering and hoping if once again good could trump evil.

Harry Potter vs. Voldemort
The Harry Potter book and movie series is one of the most popular and profitable in
entertainment history, therefore we have no choice but to include the epic battle
between Potter and Voldemort. This matchup is near and dear to most of our hearts,
because we either grew up with the Harry or we became fans over the 11 year
unfolding of the story. Either way seeing good prevail over evil in the final chapter of
this story definitely warmed our hearts.

2. The Matrix was a movie that was ahead of it’s time in terms of it’s special effects, and
these technological advances made this battle of good and evil one to remember.
Everything from the classic lean back to the to the high flying fight scenes between
these two characters came together to form a matchup none of us will ever forget.
Though it took 3 movies to complete the cinematography and special effects made it all
worth while.

Dorothy vs. The Wicked Witch of the West
The Wizard of Oz is a huge part of movie history not only for being one of the first color
movies, but for also being responsible for one of the most famous battles of good and
evil in Dorothy vs. the Wicked Witch. The conflict between these two was so great their
has been numerous renditions of the original story going from The Wiz, the African
American rendition and Wicked, which serves as the prequel to the The Wizard of Oz
story. With jaw dropping performances from the great Judy Garland and the original
Wicked Witch Margret Hamilton, it is undeniable that this is one of the greatest rivalries
in the history film.

Autobots vs Decepticons
The Transformers movies are actually based on the original Hasbro toy series of the 80’s
and early 90’s, which makes this match up older than the live action movie we know
today. The battle between these two has raged on for decades and has had everything
you want in battle of good and evil from intergalactic spaceship battles to explosive
fights in the city. Not to mention the always exciting heavyweight bouts between
Optimus Prime and Megatron which have kept us on edge for years.
