Dear Sir/Madam
I wish to apply for the role of Toolpusher. Please find enclosed my CV for your
consideration.
As you can see from my attached CV, I have over 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas
industry, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time make me the
right/perfect candidate for the role.
Unfortunately, I was
made redundant after 10 Years with my previous employer GeometricCofor, due to the
downfall in the Industry. However, as the key achievements during my employment will
demonstrate, this was in no way a reflection of my own work, and I see this opportunity as
the perfect position to re-enter the industry.
In my previous role as a Snr Toolpusher at GeometricCofor, I was responsible for I
contributed to supervising all phases of onsite drilling operations involving hi-tech cyber land
rigs, and managed all site operation that drilled the longest CBM lateral in Europe, which
when coupled with my enthusiasm and dedication to Health & Safety
I am confident that I can bring this level of success with me to your organisation and help
build upon their reputation as one of leading Onshore Drilling companies with my previous
experience and expertise; I believe my contribution will have an immediate impact on the
business.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss my
application further.
Yours sincerely/Yours faithfully,
Kevin Haughton
