The Sacred Canyon is a narrow canyon on Navajo land in northern Arizona that winds towards Lake Powell on the Colorado River. Over millions of years, wind and flash floods have carved intricate slots and passages through the solid red sandstone rock. When entering the canyon, one is surrounded by gracefully curved rock patterns and lines created by the flow of water over time. Accompanied by a Navajo guide playing traditional music, visitors feel that they have entered a truly sacred place.
