Making a video about yourself that includes your:
◦ Hobbies

◦ Favorite Music
This makes you approachable and students make consider you fun!!
4. Create a Book Trailer
You can use video to introduce a book that the
students will be reading.
◦Introduce author’s thoughts.
◦Meaning behind book.
5. Create a Virtual Field Trip
Teachers and students can make virtual field trips for the classroom. Teachers can use online
museums and virtual field sites and create videos.
6. Example of How I can Use Video In My
Classroom:
I teach second grade I would be using a video when teaching math skills about (Greater than,
Less than and equal.) You can find videos that have great songs for students to understand these
skills. Many of my students get confused about which way to put the greater/less than signs. The
videos have the alligator eating the bigger number. Videos enhance the students learning skills
because it keeps their attention, they remember the songs and they see cartoons teaching them
these skills. This helps the visual learner and students can refer to the video. Then when they
practice this skills independently they understand it.
