1. HONOUR!
A common saying runs along the veins of every generation,
“Trust must be earned.”
As we walk through the mirror of our characters, seeing the
reflection of our deeds, now and then we will/shall be
reminded of our trustworthiness. The words of promise that we
speak forth unto our fellow humans echo in our conscience to
be fulfilled. Every tick-of-the-clock is the opportunity to
develop this timeless quality of trustworthiness.
One thing I love about life is that there is always another day
coming, always; if today I missed a shot to earn someone’s trust,
tomorrow I can always do better. I like to look at it from God’s
perspective; “as much as I desire trustworthiness of other
people to be at my disposal; so will I, everyday, be trustworthy
to my fellow humans.”
The King’s word comes out as a decree, once out of his mouth it
must be fulfilled; as a king shall I direct my words, and direct
my actions to fulfil my decrees. I will work for my honour, I
shall earn my trust, and I am honoured by God.
“Where the word of a King is, there is power…” Ecclesiastes
8:4.
