2. Meet Stinklephish & Bumbleklutz … a story about two best friends who are different
from most others – but only on the outside. When you look inside their hearts, they
are just like you and I – because they care about others and never want to hurt any-
one’s feelings.
Stinklephish lives with his mom and dad in the little town of Smellyshews.
Bumbleklutz lives with his mom in Eiffeldown. On
special days, she makes him lots of pancakes for
breakfast. He loves pancakes!
Stinklephish and Bumbleklutz know it’s not nice to
make fun of anyone … and that you can hurt people’s feelings when you are mean.
Their teacher, Mrs. Luvyouawl, reminds her students of that all the time.
One day when they were at the zoo, they saw a boy make a mean
face at them … and that made them sad. They were sad because
they thought that little boy didn’t have a good friend of his own …
like they did with each other.
Pretty soon, there were three good friends.

This is the first in a short series of books about these two special friends and I have
