To
Whom
it
May
Concern:
My
work
with
Kathleen
O’Leary
at
the
Bitterroot
College
has
shown
me
how
important
her
contributions
as
an
Academic
Advisor
is
to
the
students.
When
I
started
as
the
Coordinator
for
disability
services
for
students
at
the
Bitterroot
College
it
was
an
institution
in
need
of
some
serious
guidance
and
support.
Kathleen
not
only
took
a
leadership
role,
but
also
created
the
Bitterroot
Advising
program
from
the
ground
up
to
ensure
student
success.
Kathleen
role
was
one
of
many,
and
with
that
came
a
strong
support
system
for
a
very
diverse
population
of
students.
I
watched
the
mindsets
of
the
students
of
the
Bitterroot
College
grow
from
thinking
it
was
a
stepping
stone
to
other
institutions
to
a
populations
that
was
proud
and
excited
to
earn
their
degrees
from
the
Bitterroot
College.
Kathleen
has
also
shown
her
talents
and
knowledge
in
taking
on
extra
projects
and
roles
within
the
College.
She
has
assisted
me
in
supporting
and
making
sure
that
students
with
disabilities
have
a
fair
and
equal
opportunity
at
an
education.
Whether
it
be
staying
late
to
proctor
and
scribe
a
test
for
an
individual
with
a
learning
disability
or
making
sure
a
non-‐traditional
student
takes
the
right
courses
after
being
out
of
academics
for
20
years.
Kathleen
is
an
amazing
and
important
part
of
the
Bitterroot
College
and
its
growing
success
as
a
part
of
the
University
of
Montana
System.
Please
seek
me
out
if
you
need
any
other
information.
Sincerely,
Paul
