Cloud computing is now a proven, mainstream alternative for colleges like us, especially in these times. Moving to the
cloud should be designed in such a way that it ensures Business Continuity.
#3 Security
How can you guarantee security with
any selected implementation?
#6 And the Big
Question: Costing.
What is the estimated dollar value for
a project like this.
#2 Additional Modules
We need to understand what/if any
other modules are required to
support our plan
#5 Based on Design:
Time Factor
At this point time is crucial
#1 Syncing Vs. Complete Migration
On-premise is critical to us; Again, our
Data Protections Act might soon prevent
us from hosting our data outside
Jamaica. We want to be fluid enough to
support Sage on-site..
#4 Backup and Redundancy Plan
Building our in-house server with the
hassle of maintaining the backup of
massive data is a significant concern
for us.
6 Main Concerns of ICT
We have several custom modules that were
currently a part of our Sage Installation on Campus;
it is therefore very critical that these applications
work in whatever solution we design. All users
should be able to access the same features,
functionalities as a Sage 300 ERP deployed on-
premise solution.
Additional Modules includes: Asset Management
and Purchasing Workflow
We strongly believe in uninterrupted services
to all features of the Sage Application.

Now we should be able to decide on the way
forward and set some timelines.
