CAREER HISTORY AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
General Officer Commanding, SUB AREA; Bathinda (2012-14)
Key responsibilities included plan and control of logistics units, management and supervision of civil
works, and monitoring of town planning functions in the defined area of responsibility.
Orchestratedandfacilitated mobilizationof large sizedforcesapartfromorganizinguninterrupted
logistic support to these formations.
Responsible for supervision of large sized logistic units supporting a sizable force.
Managed endto endcivil worksincludingtownplanningof largestmilitary station in India spread
over 13600 acres.
Responsible for budgeting of public works.
Liaisoned with civil authorities for various activities including crisis and disaster management.

Key responsibilities included planning and management of all combat and civil engineering works.
Led budgeting exercise, conceptualized policies and planning on deployment of all engineering

Superintendent Engineers, 16 Executive Engineers and 6500 composite combatant & civil
workforce.
Coordinated with various government agencies on defence work projects.
Undertook highly specialized construction projects such as runway construction and related
infrastructure peculiar to housing of strategic assets. Also, conceptualized and executed
construction projects for various multistoried residential/technical assets.
