1. GSFC Industrial Invitation Table Tennis Tournament 2015
General Sports Association (GSA) a sports council of Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited,
Fertilizernagar had organized “2nd
GSFC Industrial Invitation Table Tennis Tournament for Year 2015” for all
regular employees of various industries located nearby Vadodara District as well as within Gujarat at GSFC
Officer’s Club Fertilizernagar Dist. Baroda on 22nd
March 2015. Players of six industries participated in the
tournament. The event was a success in all aspects. Specially, display of zeal, skill & speed from the players and
their interaction amongst elite player’s fraternity of the game.
Final Team championship match went on to almost one and half hour. Eventually with lots of ups and down
Heavy water team is the winner with score line 3-2. During this tournament we discovered a jewel from GSFC
players Shri Kashyap Jog of Marketing fertilizer Surendranagar who bagged yet another title in men’s single. He
was very well supported by our all time player shri Sunil Landge (MSD dept) by winning doubles runner up
place. Our players have brought pride to our Organization. During the tournament GSA officials, GSFC
Officers and dignitaries from fertilizernagar remained present to witness the matches.
The prizes to the medallists were given away by Hon. Shri. Kamal Gupta (Vice President - MSD), Hon. Shri.
Dilip Patel, President – GSFE Union and Hon. Shri. Hitesh Joshi, Secretary - GSFE Union.
