2. LOVE FOR THE GAME AS A KID
• As a kid growing up I’ve always loved sports. My favorite sport was always basketball I
was the kid that bounced the ball in the house and everything if I wasn’t on my drums I
was out playing basketball somewhere. I played from childhood to high school, city league
and summer tournaments, and plenty of blacktop basketball or streetball in between. My
favorite basketball player of all time is #23 himself Michael Jordan. I’ve watched every
game right down to the end of his career even his time as a Washington Wizard, not his
best time in the NBA but it’s still Jordan so had to watch. I remember trying to imitate his
every move on the playground before and after school
3. HOOP DREAMS
• Picture of me playing when I was a kid goes here I have to dig it up from my parents
4. • It was 1996 game 6 of the NBA Finals
Jordan and the Bulls were in Utah to
try and finish off the Jazz for the
championship.
• This moment in sports history is what
drove me to want to somehow work
within sports even if I couldn’t play
professionally I was determined to be
apart of the NBA.
THE SHOT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
5. • The media frenzy that followed was
epic it seemed as if everybody wanted
to cash in on a story if they could.
• Sports Illustrated sums it up as
“Jordan’s masterpiece is complete”.
• Time named Michael Jordan one
1998’s top athletes on their list of top
teams and athlets
