I am currently working as an Accounts Manager and my major responsibilities include, but
are not limited to:

• The statutory reporting is my primary responsibility and to ensure that the
statutory accounts will be prepared in line with IFRS and as per 4th
schedule
of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.
• The Financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annually) to the Group on the
prescribe format with comparative analysis within a specified time limit.
• Monthly closing of all the Oracle Financial Modules are the mandatory
requirement. Before start of monthly reporting, it is my responsibility to
ensure that all relevant transaction are recorded and posted in the General
Ledger Module and Trial Balance is reconciled.
2. • To establish and maintain a system of internal control and give reasonable
assurance to Head of Internal Audit that all the process flows are in line with
Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and cover the Risk and Control Matrix.
• Involve in internal and external audit process to ensure that all issues arising
out are resolved timely and satisfactorily and that final report by the auditors
will be clean. Also ensure compliance with statutory requirement of Stock
Exchanges, SECP, Companies Ordinance 1984 and other relevant laws.
• Successful operations of AP & AR in Oracle Financial Module in line with
entity business requirements and to follow and maintain the rules as
prescribe by the Sarbanes Oxley 404.
• Ensure that costing of Raw Materials and Engineering stores & spares are in
line with prescribed procedure, update the other overhead through average
cost update and record proper consumption in Oracle Financial Inventory
Module. Raw and packing materials efficiency matched with the technical
department.
• To review and ensure that the Oracle Fixed Assets module works with other
Oracle Financial modules to provide a complete set of transactions and
reports for maintaining fixed asset control.
• Collect the data from various departments for the preparation of Annual
Budget. Ensure that after BOD approval the budget entered into Oracle
Module. The other tool, customize application will show the actual
expenditure and the budgeted amount. To review and analyze the
Controllable Revenue Expenses with the budget on monthly and year to date
basis.
• The task assigned by the management to represent Finance department to
take the challenge with IT team to upgrade Oracle Application from 11i to
R12. Within the record time all the Oracle Application has been successfully
upgraded and transactions have been processed without issues.
• To review the HSE (Health Safety and Environment) audit process in relation
with RCMS procedures and guide the colleagues.
