Editor's Notes
Too many competitors out there (market is too saturated, traditional box store, online commerce, international companies, and factories direct selling)
High product return rates - People come in different shapes and sizes and they often people don’t know their true size. Consumers often make returns because they selected a size they assume will fit but end up returning when it doesn’t. ( data show 30% of the merchandize are returned- macy’s data?)
Low screen retention - People scroll thru the web, their attention spent is only 6 seconds. Often, people need to see the product multiple times to develop the attachment and engagement.
Low engagement - Buying clothes is a social shopping experience (seeing onlines is only touches one sense, but our body have five senses (touch the material, see the intricate design, & hear feedback and compliments from their family and friends.. it wants a good story… the overall experience)
I creating a persona of a fashion spender - 2 use cases
Try it before buy it ( Personalized mail subscription like amazon prime wardrobe and Stichfix and Le tote)
