Collected data on species (plant and animal) inhabiting sites in tidal rivers, freshwater marshes,
brackish marshes and salt water marshes. Used refractometer to measure and record salinity,
triangulated location with GPS, and measure elevations
Surveyed reef sites around the Little Egg Inlet
Used side scan sonar, magnetometer, and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) equipped with 2-D
imaging sonar, video and water quality instrumentation. Acquired and processed data,recorded
from sonar, utilizing image analysis software. Collected data from inshore and offshore sites and
produced geo-referenced maps of the NJ coast
