3. These 3 Victorian homes face
Carré St. Louis in Montreal.
My original drawing was conceived in
1982. I screen printed a limited
edition of 50 impressions in black
and white.
This scene has since become
very popular to other artists. In
2008 I painted this oil on canvas.
It is now available as a full colour
giclée of 250 impressions.
4. Limited Edition Prints on Archival Paper
A limited edition is art reproduced from an original painting. The number of copies is
determined when the original is created. Each edition includes publisher’s and artist’s proofs
that are signed and numbered. A certificate of authenticity establishes
the size of the edition.
Giclee art offered by the artist to you is the best way of guaranteeing that your purchase is bona
fide, and the number is exact as certified by the artist.
Giclee is the modern version of printmaking. Prior to this new technology, artists used screen
printing, stone or copperplate imaging.
This art will give you years of satisfaction and the joy of owning a beautiful addition for your
home. When you purchase an edition from Joseph Gluchy, you will have a treasure that will add
quality to your life.
Digital art is rapidly increasing in popularity. At present there are no guidelines as to
what is being reproduced. Artists, galleries and publishers have a responsibility to
honestly describe and represent what they are offering.
When each series is sold, no other print will be available. This ensures that your edition
will become rare, and offers a potential increase in value.
5. These beautiful bridesmaids
walking down the terrace to
the wedding ceremony is
my homage to Alphonse Mucha.
He is my inspiration and my hero as
a great visual artist.
He and the artists of the
romantic era, follow in the
great path pioneered by the
masters of the Renaissance.
