• Assisted in development of supervised multivariate prediction as an adversarial zero-sum game
• Focused on various performance measures for Information Retrieval tasks, and discovered two
viable metrics and integrated them into an existing MATLAB framework

• Wrote Unit and Integration test suite (RSpec) for code base & configured a CI server (Jenkins)
• Developed (TDD) CMS features under Rails framework in a very agile environment

• Developed a classifier for scoring essays on the following features: spelling, subject-verb agree-
ment, verb tense agreement, sentence formation, pronoun reference, topic accuracy and length
• Utilized NLTK, Stanford NLP and CLiPS frameworks to assist in scoring each feature
• System placed 3rd out of 22 participating teams (weighted accuracy performance measure)
YELP DATASET CHALLENGE, UIC CS 491: INTRO TO MACHINE LEARNING — SPRING 2015
• Objective: find factors which contribute most to a restaurant’s Yelp rating using written reviews.
