日本で就職するには、一般的には、自国もしくは日本の学位（大学卒業）と日本語能力

BUSINESS- Looking for work in Japan
At Kyoshin Language Academy's Japanese Language schools, we offer you guidance on how to
handle the activities that make up Japan's work culture: how to write a resume based on your
personal work history, how to interview successfully, how to dress for success, and more. Our staff
work everyday to use these activities to help students find the job they want.
When you're looking for work in Japan, it's generally a requirement that you have both a university
degree from either your home country or Japan, as well as Japanese language skills equivalent to an
N1 grade on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. There are a lot of cases where you will be
expected to have studied three languages: Japanese first of all, English, and your own native
language. As Japanese businesses become more internationally-focused, they're increasingly
looking to cultivate talented people who understand Japanese business culture. They're especially
interested in applicants who want to become leaders at Japanese companies' overseas offices.

◆大学院進学
大学院進学は、世界各国さまざまな入学の仕組みがあり、日本には日本なりの入学の仕方
があります。一斉におこなれれるペーパーテストで大学院が決まるということは日本では
ありま せん。 京進ランゲージアカデミーでは、元大学院の教授が直接大学院進学のため
の心得を話してくれたり、指導経験豊富なスタッフが、研究計画書の指導などをしていま
す。自分が何を研究したいのか、どのような研究をしている教授のもとで学びたいのか、
まずは自分で調べることが必要です。 日本の大学院の多くは日本語でコミュニケーショ
ンが取られますので、日本語能力試験の審査基準がない場合も、日本語はできて当たり前
ということになります。 ですので、日本語能力試験の 1 級、さらに、研究したいことにつ

− Graduate School Continuing Education Course
All countries have their own different arrangements for getting into graduate school, and Japan's no
different: there aren't any written exams to decide who gets accepted, for example. At Kyoshin
Language Academy, former graduate school teachers offer first-hand advice on how to get into the
school you want, and our experienced staff give you expert guidance on creating your research
proposal. To find out what you want to research, and what sort of research lecturer you want to
study under, first you need to be able to investigate the area. Most graduate schools in Japan do
their communication in Japanese, so whether you have a Japanese Language Proficiency Test
(JLPT) certification or not, they will expect you to be able to understand the language. Because of
this, it's strongly recommended that you have passed the N1 level of the JLPT, and are confident
enough in Japanese to give your proposal about what you want to study to the school's faculty.
◆大学進学
大学受験には日本語能力試験と合わせて、日本留学試験の受験が必要で、そのスコアによ
り、日本語だけでなく、高校卒業レベルの知識を持つことを証明していきます。 日本語
能力試験は年 2 回（7 月と 12 月）、日本留学試験も年 2 回（6 月と 11 月）だけです から、
日本の入試システムに合わせ、スケジュールをきちんと立てて準備することが必要です。

随時行い、学生の進学のために取り組んでいます。日本留学試験対策の授業も拠点校で行
っており、グループ内の学生が集まって学習しています。
− University Continuing Education Course
To take exams at a Japanese university, you'll need to have taken both the Japanese Language
Proficiency Test (JLPT) and the Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU). You'll have
to submit not only your score on these exams, but also your high school grades. Both tests are only
held twice a year- the JLPT in July and December, and the EJU in June and November. Because of
this, it's especially important to prepare your schedule so that it matches up with the entrance exam
system. At Kyoshin Language Academy's Japanese Language Schools, we help students to get into
university in Japan with the help of monthly interviews with exchange students and, if necessary,
special guidance sessions on university entrance. We also offer classes focused on passing the EJU,
and opportunities to study for the exam alongside other students at your school.
◆専門学校
多くの専門学校は 2 年間で、終了後、その専門知識を生かしての就職をしていきます。
IT、経営などからファッション、デザイン、調理などまで様々な勉強をする専門学校。

− Vocational and Technical Schools
Most Japanese vocational schools offer tuition for two years, and after completing your course
you'll search for work in your area of expertise. There are various things you can study- from IT and

3. management to fashion, design and cookery. To get into one, you'll be expected to have an N2 level
on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. At Kyoshin Language Academy's Japanese Language
Schools, we introduce our students to the school that's right for them, and regularly practice
interviews and other activities to help them get in.
Short Term 短期滞在ビザでの日本語学習参加

Experience daily life and culture
“I want to experience all kinds of Japanese culture while I'm staying here!”
As well as our Japanese language courses, Kyoshin schools hold cultural events and visits every 3
months. At our Tokyo schools, you can go sightseeing at Asakusa or Nikko, or make soba noodles.
In Kyoto, you can visit Arashiyama and Lake Biwa, or try making yuzen silk. Whether you want to
try on gyaru makeup, climb Mt Fuji, watch some fireworks while wearing a yukata, make some
Japanese candy, sing Japanese songs in a gassho chorus group, or just play some 5-a-side football,
you're sure to find plenty of other students who want to do the same. Doing these sorts of activities
by yourself can be difficult, but if you've got classmates with you it'll probably be a lot easier. If you
